One of the nation's top retail brands is seeking a dynamic Change Management Consultant to drive organizational change for a high-profile IT Transformation initiative. This role, based ( hybrid ) in San Francisco , focuses on helping teams successfully adapt to new systems, technologies, and processes while providing a unique opportunity to play a key role in a transformative program impacting business operations at scale.

The engagement begins as an initial 6-month W2 contract onsite in San Francisco , offering competitive benefits and the possibility for extension or conversion to permanent employment!

Please Note: This position is onsite and cannot support C2C or sponsor/transfer any visas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and rollout of holistic change management plans, including stakeholder communications, tailored training, and ongoing support.
  • Proactively identify potential risks associated with change and formulate effective mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, IT specialists, HR professionals, and business teams to align change activities with overall program objectives.
  • Develop and deliver engaging communication campaigns and training materials suited for a variety of audiences.
  • Monitor organizational adoption rates, evaluate the effectiveness of change initiatives, and iterate plans to sustain long-term success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing change within IT-driven projects or environments.
  • Solid knowledge of change management frameworks and methodologies (such as ADKAR, Prosci, etc.).
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred:

  • Professional change management certification (Prosci, ACMP, etc.).
  • Background overseeing change efforts for major enterprise technology implementations (ERP, CRM, or cloud migration projects).
