We’re seeking a Wire Operations Specialist to work at a premier financial client in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The wire team spans multiple areas so you will be assigned to work spanning risk, investigations, and operations all under the wire umbrella. Sound good? Take a closer look below. Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
Contract Length : 6 months great possibility for the contract to be extended longer
Work Schedule M-F 9:00am-6:00pm or 10:00am-7:00pm. 100% in person work
Training 3 weeks those work hours could vary.

What’s a typical day as an Operations Specialist? You’ll be:

  • Monitoring wires as they flow through internal systems to ensure delivery assurance and troubleshooting any issues
  • Conducting research, answering queries, and assisting with wire-related inquiries for both internal departments and external customers
  • Executing tasks to support compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures
  • Creating performance reports, analyzing trends, and generating ad hoc reports using available data
  • Providing daily reporting to various audiences on current wire status
  • Creating wire metric reporting at varying frequencies for different levels of audience
  • Performing quality checks of completed work
  • Reviewing reporting to identify items not within standard
  • Completing daily balancing of wire activity
  • Reviewing GL aging
  • Logging incoming wire messages and routing to the appropriate sender


This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • MS Excel at an intermediate level . Using raw data to create reporting using advanced Excel skills. including pivot tables, formulas, and trend analysis. (test will be administered)
  • Recent back-office banking operations, wire and payment operations experience (prefer 5 years)
  • Must be able to understand how payments flow, multiple banking products, and direct wire experience)
  • Exposure to high volume, fast paced operational environment,
  • Reporting experience (e.g., daily balancing or work, reconcilement, and metrics).
  • Strong research and problem skills with proven ability to deep dive issues and present timely resolution.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Have strong project and time management skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Have completed 2 years or more of higher education
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer experience through excellent oral and written communications skills.
