Salary Range: $20.57 – $26.84/hr
Position Overview:
The GED Instructor 1 will teach instructional support curriculum. The GED Instructor 1 will support in the administration of the Educational Assessments and Occupational Evaluations to determine student’s reading, math, language and communication skill levels. They will provide GED students with HSED preparation assistance and instruction to graduate with a HSED credential including academic instruction in Common Core State Standards in math, science, language arts, writing, reading, and social studies.

Must be CPR certified. Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills, experience leading a group of students.
Ability to manage multiple projects. Knowledge of career services and labor market trends. Demonstrate ability to use sound judgment, work effectively and calmly under pressure and maintain high level of confidentiality. Ability to work independently and in a team. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Additional Conditions of Employment:
Successfully pass a Criminal History & Background Check. Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test. Maintain a current driver’s license, required motor vehicle insurance, reliable vehicle, and good driving record. Employment is conditional on CEO approval.
