Position Overview
The Director of Finance and Accounting will lead the finance department, overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. This role is crucial for ensuring the financial health of the organization and aligning financial strategy with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support organizational goals.
• Manage the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
• Oversee financial forecasting and modeling to guide decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting principles.
• Lead financial analysis efforts to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Supervise the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Conduct audits and implement necessary controls to mitigate financial risks.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic planning initiatives.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial performance and analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic financial plans.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of construction accounting practices is a plus.
