Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn and perform the following tasks:
- Develop and evaluate agency-wide programs quality control plans.
- Determine proper quality control plan options for FNMA, GNMA, and general bond issues.
- Research and monitor regulations and determine impact to agency, making recommendations to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
- Update quality control plans to maintain compliance with governing entities.
- Select and review loans for compliance as outlined in the quality control plan.
- Document findings and prepare compliance reports for management.
- Monitor findings and follow-up to determine compliance.
- Create and maintain agency-wide internal control plan.
- Document standard operating procedures for various departments and processes.

NDHFA utilizes a blended workplace model. This position will be located in the Bismarck office. After completion of training, a hybrid schedule may be considered.
What We're Looking For Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration OR
- A combination of education and experience demonstrating equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities in either the mortgage industry, or financial institution compliance.
- Successful completion of the interview process, reference checks, and background check.
Preferred Qualifications: - Compliance experience.
- Audit experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work in a complex and fast-paced environment independently and as part of a team.
Monthly Hiring Range: $5,300-$6,600
