Job Description

Amare Global is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemist II to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will apply your analytical skills and scientific expertise to support ongoing research and development efforts, ensuring the quality and performance of our products. You will work collaboratively with other chemists and scientists to evaluate formulations, conduct experiments, and analyze results.

Responsibilities

Work independently to formulate various skin care and hair care products

Make batches, research and request raw materials, test skin care products and troubleshoot under supervision

Adhere to a cGMP environment, document and follow lab procedures with attention to detail

Prepare all required paperwork

Attend cosmetic seminars and meetings

Request, test and release new raw material samples

Calibrate Lab Equipment as needed

Assist team members as needed

Assist in scale up and production manufacturing

Perform other activities as required

Requirements

3-5 years formulation experience required

Bachelor’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field

Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)

Knowledge of basic science laboratory equipment

Strong problem solving skills

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong computer skills

Attention to detail and project management skills

Ability to work in team environment and independently
