Construction Assistant Project Manager

Location: Maryland

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $85K–$95K (based on experience) + Bonus

Position Overview

We are seeking a Construction Assistant Project Manager with interiors or small base building experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing project execution, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while growing into a larger leadership position.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and executing construction projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
• Assist in preparing project budgets, estimates, RFIs, and submittals
• Help maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and schedules
• Collaborate with field teams to ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Participate in client meetings and provide regular updates on progress

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction experience (interiors or small base building strongly preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with scheduling software a plus
• Driven, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a dynamic company
