Description $23.60 to $35.41 per hour Shields Point, LLC has a dynamic opportunity for an Armed Security Shift Lead Supervisor supporting the Department of Transportation Armed Security Contract in Washington, D.C. This role requires a leader with law enforcement or security experience in managing Armed Security Forces, interacting with government personnel, and ensuring contract compliance. This posting is for three separate positions at three Washington, D.C. locations (DOT HQ, Orville Wright Federal Building, and Wilbur Wright Federal Building). This opportunity is contingent upon contract award. A signed letter of intent may be required for consideration. If awarded, additional postings will be available on the Company Careers portal. Job Duties and Responsibilities Perform duties as specified in the contract and Post Orders at assigned security posts. Ensure armed guards are properly uniformed and professional in appearance. Ensure personnel are knowledgeable of their duties and capable during emergencies. Ensure armed guards are properly trained. Possess necessary permits, CPR and first aid certifications, and credentials as required. Oversee access control, visitor processing, patrols, and emergency responses. Conduct post inspections, monitor guard performance, and report to management. Support quality control and contract compliance, coordinating with the Facility Commander. Manage weapons procedures and storage on federal property. Provide responsive, customer-focused service internally and externally. Requirements U.S. Citizen. Active Public Trust Tier 2 Security Clearance. Certified FPS A-9 Armed Contract Security Officer (ACSO) and supervisory training. Complete medical exams, physical tests, and drug screenings as required. Minimum 5 years’ experience in law enforcement or security, with 3 years in a supervisory role. Two years of college or substantial law enforcement, military, or management experience. Ability to supervise over 15 armed guards. Fluent in English, with strong communication skills. Provide 3 professional references demonstrating management of 15+ armed guards.
